We teamed up with Yulli’s Brews for our first ever beer, the Karaoke Kingu Japanese Rice Lager! The idea for the beer was forged as a way to celebrate music and self-expression in the local community. For this reason, we are having a big launch party at Yulli’s Brews in Alexandria on April 3.
With a jam-packed night full of activities to accompany the Karaoke Kingu Japanese Rice Lager, you can guarantee that the launch party will be a night to remember. Live out your rockstar fantasies and belt out some classics with the backing of a full live band thanks to karaoke legends Dave Eastgate and the Boner Contention! If that isn’t enough, there will be a specially crafted Japanese menu by the amazing Yulli’s Brews kitchen, as well as sake tasting, Japanese massages and a mini record fair.
Keeping up with traditions, we have released some brand new merch in honour of the upcoming Record Store Day featuring the Karaoke Kingu. This year we worked with Sydney-based artist Jeremy Lorde who absolutely crushed the design. The artwork is going onto slip mats, t-shirts, stubby holders, mirror-ball keychains and stickers. Secure yourself a piece of our merch at the launch event and selected record stores throughout the country!
Anyone, who is a fan of Audio-Technica and Yulli’s, is invited to the launch. Taste the beer, sing some karaoke and enjoy the spoils of the Yulli’s kitchen! This is a glorious way to kick off April and get excited for Record Store Day. Check out the Facebook event to stay up to date with all the news around the Launch Party.
On Record Store Day (April 18), your favourite local record stores associated with Audio-Technica are participating in the ‘Who will be King?’ prize draw nationwide. If you purchase products totalling at least $20 you can enter the competition to win an AT-LP60X turntable, the Karaoke Kingu beer, and other hot merchandise items. Follow us on Facebook to receive an update on which stores in your area are part of the ‘Who will be King?’ competition!
