Melbourne, 10 October — Audio-Technica is showing their newest products around gaming, streaming, and podcasting at the PAX gaming exhibition in Melbourne in October. Additionally, they set up a podcast studio at their stall, where they expect 20 hosts to record their sessions. PC Case Gear provides five high-end gaming PC’s which feature 2K Games’s latest release Borderlands 3.
At the Audio-Technica stand, visitors can test out flagship products like the ATH-M50XBT headphones and the AT-BP40 broadcast microphone. A particular highlight is the new studio gaming headsets the ATH-G1 and the wireless ATH-G1WL, which were released in July. Wesley von Grabill, Brand Manager states ‘With the rapidly increasing number of gaming streams, and podcasts, we understand how important it is to provide our customers with the best, high-end, easy-to-use home studio equipment on the market.’
The podcast booth is hosting guests from all over Australia and uses the flagship broadcasting microphone AT-BP40. PAX-goers can pick up a set of ATH-M50X headphones outside the cabin to listen to the live recording. The transparent walls of the studio allow the visitors to observe the hosts and their guests recording the podcasts. ‘We love working with Australian artists and content creators. It was only natural to incorporate that, with a newly remodelled podcast studio this year at PAX.’, says Marketing Manager, Matthew Stillone.
Another highlight of the stand is the artwork created as a live performance by Melbourne based artist Jeswri. In the course of the three days of the exhibition, he is painting a mural focussing on podcasting and content creation.
