Described as the ‘Full Package, singer songwriter TORI DARKE has just been announced as a Finalist in the 2016 Golden Guitar Awards as Female Artist of the Year.
With her powerful vocals, beautiful voice, passionate song writing and mesmerizing on-stage presence – Tori Darke continues to capture her audience and a make her mark in the music industry.
Tori’s second album Silver Lining (produced by Andrew Cochrane) debuted at #1 on the Australian ARIA Charts, #3 on the Australian ARIA All Genres Chart, and #9 on the ARIA International Country Charts. Her chart success culminated with a SOLD OUT Sydney show earlier this year.
‘Silver Lining’ is an album that will take you on a journey, appealing not only to country fans but a whole new audience of music lovers in general. Its an album filled with the personal experiences of heartbreak and new beginnings.
‘Disposable’, the first single from the album, shot straight to #1 on the iTunes Country Charts, peaking at # 2 on the Music Network Top 20 Charts & # 9 on CMC.
‘So Gone’ her second single followed with great success peaking at # 3 on both The Australian Country Top 20 & The Hot Country Top 40 Charts.
Her third single (and title track) ‘Silver Lining’ will soon to hit the airways and is sure to be another success.
Tori’s first album ‘Dreams & Chances’ debuted with great success, reaching #5 on the Australian ARIA Country charts and #10 on the International ARIA charts. All 5 singles released from her ‘Dreams & Chances’ album hitting Top 10 hits, with 3 charting a # 1.
2015 marked her third headlining show at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, where fans packed her three performances and two of the three shows, a total sell out. Her songs from both albums regularly appearing on CMC TV and Radio Station across Australia.
With two very successful album‘s to her credit, Tori has performed at some of Australia’s most prestigious festivals including CMC Rocks The Hunter, Deni Ute Muster & The Gympie Muster, also travelling to Canada to perform at The Merrit Mountain Country Music Festival as one of the opening artists for Kenny Chesney, and has shared the stage with both International and Australian artists including Doc Walker, JoDee Messina, Pam Tillis, Johnny Reid, Emerson Drive, The Steve Miller Band, The McClymonts, Troy Cassar-Daly, McAlister Kemp, Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, Amber Lawrence & Jetty Road.
